Design Optimisation and Guidelines for Multimaterial Applications

The DOGMA Project

This website is based on information compiled by a consortium of partners which formed a Thematic Network as part of the European Commission's Brite-EuRam programme. The aim of the project was to stimulate more rapid development, application and exploitation of new and advanced material systems in innovative applications.

The consortium included nine industrial partners representing the materials supply chain and major end-user sectors, together with ten leading European research centres and six academic institutes who are engaged on R & D activities related to multimaterials technology.

Technical themes addressed by the Network included

The project was coordinated by the Joining Technology Research Centre at Oxford Brookes University, UK and the Design Tools and Guidelines pages were assembled by VTT, Finland, with TWI, UK now coordinating the delivery of the web pages to a wider audience.
