A network of 26 European establishments has been formed to develop design rules and guidelines for the application of hybrid material components such as sandwich panels and composite reinforced structures. This collaborative project is supported by the European Commission as part of its Industrial and Materials Technologies (Brite-EuRam) IMT programme.

The Thematic Network is being co-ordinated by the Joining Technology Research Centre at Oxford Brookes University.
