DESIGN CRITERIA

To design a multimaterial it is essential to know relevant design criteria.
Since almost no guidelines are available in present design codes and
standards for multimaterials, engineers have to make a selection by
themselves. In the present project important aspect related to design
criteria are discussed. The current status is evaluated and the need for new codes is underlined. To illustrate the selection design criteria, various case studies are presented.
