MODELLING TECHNIQUES

Theoretical modelling is a key aspect in the design of multimaterial products. This project has evaluated a number of different modelling approaches and compared various numerical analysis packages.
The results are presented in a series of round-robin case studies addressing sandwich panels, multimaterial beams and adhesive bonded composite joints.
