EXTRUSION
Description
| Extrusion is the largest process in terms of volume material processed. The majority of this material is film, sheet and profile (pipe, window profile etc.). The raw material is typically
thermoplastics.
Reinforced PVC sheet is produced so that between layers a reinforced web is laminated (like a sandwich). The preform for the hose could be made for example by braiding. Today also extrusion of reinforces thermoplastics is studied. |
